Resumen

La Brigada Henry Reeve, o formalmente Contingente Internacional de Médicos Especializados en Situaciones de Desastres y Graves Epidemias, es una organización que no tiene precedentes en el mundo. Fue  constituida el 19 de septiembre de 2005 en La  Habana, Cuba, por el líder histórico de la Revolución cubana, Fidel Castro Ruz, el que vio sus antecedentes desde el mismo inicio del triunfo de la Revolución  cubana, cuando comenzaron a manifestarse varios de los principios básicos de la misma: la solidaridad y el internacionalismo.

The Henry Reeve Brigade, or formally International Contingent of Specialized Physicians in Situations of Disasters and Serious Epidemics, is an organization that is unprecedented in the world.
