Objetivo: describir las acciones que para el trabajo educativo se realizan desde la dirección de Premédico en la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina (ELAM) para alcanzar la formación integral de los estudiantes.
Materiales y métodos: se realizó una investigación de corte descriptivo sobre el trabajo educativo desde la
estrategia llevada a cabo por la dirección de Premédico en la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina con vistas a alcanzar la formación integral de futuros profesionales de la salud de varias nacionalidades.
Resultados: se describen las acciones realizadas desde la dirección de Premédico, para el trabajo educativo, que revelan lo novedoso del tema, donde se combina la creatividad de los docentes y las potencialidades de los estudiantes.
Conclusiones: el colectivo de profesores de la dirección de Premédico de la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina está totalmente identificado con la necesidad del cambio y brinda su aporte, diseñando acciones para el trabajo educativo desde sus tres dimensiones sociopolítica, curricular y extensionista, previa identificación de potencialidades y necesidades del trabajo realizado.
ABSTRACT
Objective: to describe the actions that for the educative work are realizing since the Pre academic direction of Latin American Medicine School (ELAM) to reach the integral formation of students.
Materials and Methods: a descriptive cohort study investigation was carried out about educative work since the strategy developed by the Pre academic course direction of Latin American Medicine School with the view to reach the integral formation of future health professionals from various nationalities.
Results: to describe the actions realized from the Pre academic course, for the educative work that reveal the newfangled of the topic, where is combined the academicians creativity with the students’ potentialities.
Conclusions: the professor’s staff of Pre academic direction of Latin American Medicine School is totally identified with the necessity of the change and gives its contribution, designing for the educative work from its tree dimensions, sociopolitical, curricular and extension’s actions prior identification of potentialities and necessities of the realized work.
